Okay guys, about 2 months ago I bought a 2008 6.7 laramie megacab. Love the truck. Going to be building this one to be quiet the show truck. I actually bought it from a dealership already lifted (yes I know this is a big no no, but I had an hour long test drive and went over every bit of lift and linkage on this truck extensively). My issue is, I have no idea what brand or height lift it is?! I know, that sounds crazy, but i really need to find out hah. Immediately after buying the truck I dropped both axles and removed all of the lift and did the candy purple with flake on the linkage, coils and long arms. I became very familiar with the truck after all of this. Here is all I have discovered about the lift:
- Sits around the height of a 10" lift. It is sitting on 38x13.50x24
- Both upper and lower longarm are the same length.
- I have seen a truck with an Alter Ego lift kit and the trac bar drop bracket were identical, except theirs had the Alter Ego logo CNC'd into it...
- All drop bracket and long arm mounts have been welded to frame, but could have been bolted on
Thats about all I know. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. I gotta get to the bottom of this. I do understand that the pieces could have been all different brands and someone kinda "pieced together" the lift. Below are some pics of the lift
