when i did my show truck build, i told my ole lady that i was just painting the fenders and front bumper, she had a real puzzled look on her face when she saw the truck with no suspension, bed or front clip on it lol
[emoji23] lmfaooo that’s a good one the things we can get away with lol

I have the '14 black express rims. Anyone happen to know the degree lug nut it takes? The ebay link you posted shows 60 degree, but it says pretty clearly they aren't for factory rims.

I think they're actually broken. I pressed them one day, heard a crunch, and now there's no more on/off function unless I use my roller switch next to the headlight control.

How do I actually get to these safely? And the middle one, as well as the license plate lights.

Use a small pry tool or a flathead screwdriver, with my truck you have to pry them down from near the pivot point where they tilt. Mine is an 08, I’m guessing it’s the same for the older trucks.

They really stress not compatible with oem wheels. I wonder why?

Damn, I missed that part, sorry guys.

These are what are on my truck now with the aftermarket wheels. I don't see why these wouldn't work with the OEM wheels either.

The only reason I could see would be the angle of the cut where they meet up against the wheel.

New bumper installed this morning. Very happy with it and the color is very close. Slightly lighter than the factory paint but you might not be able to see it in the pics.

Out with the old POS.

Before and after comparison with the most similar pics I could find.

IMG_20180126_114508-X2.jpg

Now I just need to get the front bumper and grill painted to match the rest of the truck. The black front end is OK but I want them red with the grill cross-hairs black. I'll either vinyl wrap the roof a matte black or have that painted, as well as re-doing the door pillars between the windows. Hood is also going to be swapped out eventually for a cowl hood and I'm thinking of having the cowl on that done in a matte black too.
