"Leverage" lolNew gears are in. 4.56s and a detroit trutrac. I’m trying to stick to the break-in procedure so I’m not going too fast yet, but even at lower speeds it feels soo much better. The V6 can finally pull the truck without too much of a struggle lol

Welcome! Trucks arent meant to be beauty queens!Relatively a noobe here, but here is my truck. In the last 2 weeks, I've had the rear diff completely rebuilt and the rusted.. smashed up (from previous owner) bed changed to an aluminum flatbed. Not a beauty queen, but she has come a long way since I acquired her last September.... '08 1500 5.7 Hemi 4wd....

RFE is the acronym for Rear Fully Electronic. The automatic transmission in all of our Ram Trucks used this unit in almost every single truck from 2002-2014 in the Ram 1500 and 2003-Current in the 2500/3500. There are only a few exceptions where the 45/545RFE was not used and that was in the 2002-2003 Ram 1500 with a 5.9 Magnum because they still used the 46RE. The 2500/3500 trucks with a 5.9 Cummins used the 48RE from 2003-2007 until the introduction of the 68RFE. In 2012 Chrysler released the 65RFE for the 1500's and the 66RFE for the Power Wagon. Also, alot of the Ram 2500/3500 trucks use the AISIN AS68RC and the AS69RC.RFE.....????
