Are you happy with the tone, and amount of sound your new horns produce ?

Your truck looks awesome. It gives me a great idea what mine will look like if I install a real lift kit (just leveled now). What size tires did you go with and what size/brand wheel spacers did you use?Installed a Zone 6" kit. Along the way found a few areas in need of refreshing....stock front UCA ball joints boots were ripped, front left camber bolt seized in LCA bushing, passenger axle seized onto intermediate shaft. Replaced UCAs, driver LCA, new passenger CV and intermediate shaft/bearings/seals/dust cover. New hub assemblies onto Zone knuckles, new tie rod ball joints (part of kit), new sway bar links/bushings.
Smooth as butter now, plus a "face lift" for this OLD girl : )
Thanks @Nick@GotExhaust and @Quick_Shifter for preplanning guidance, suggestions and killer parts pricing!
Curious how your fluid looked and how many miles on the clock?Did front and rear diff fluid and transfer case fluid. Used valvoline extended protection gear oil and valvoline atf +4.
Fluid only had about 20k on it. The reason I changed it is I'm about to hit 200k miles and I want all free fluids as a baseline, so it's easy to keep track of when to change going forward. Plus as my truck gets older I think frequent fluid changes are cheap insurance. The atf 4 in the transfer case still looked bright red, the diffs were still a dark amber color but starting to get a grayish brown hue. No water was in the diffs which was good.Curious how your fluid looked and how many miles on the clock?
I have a 2014 Ram Express that originally came with the non touch screen radio. I upgraded to the 5.0 RA2 unit and added the backup camera. This radio has a compass function but obviously isn’t working. Do you know what additional items are needed to get this function to work? I know there’s a compass module but I don’t know what else is needed. It looks like I may need the overhead console as well bu it’s not all that clear to me.Wrapped up the overhead light switch project. Works, and function as I planned. I did go down on switch size slightly, because I wasn’t able to find the three colors I wanted in the original plan, but did find then a size smaller. Which works out good because I was concerned about having a big bright light bugging me from the switch ON. Not an issue now
Also discovered that the garage door controler also controls the compass. With the controller unplugged and removed….. rather than get N, S, E, W indications, now it’s simply dashed lines.
I‘ll have to see if there is a work around for that, as I want everything to function
