Gave the Ram a nice hand wash yesterday as I had a vacation day. Awesome weather for it too. Not too cold, not too hot and the Ram looks killer. :buffer:

Literally drove it through a hurricane. Irma decided to follow my escape plan and go right through me. The wind was not nice, nor was the fuel economy going headfirst into a stead headwind, but pulled out like a champ. To think a week ago I was going to trade it in, perhaps I should keep it based on life saving performance.

Side note, sideways rain and standing water are no chance against the Terra Grappler G2's and 44-44 transfer case. Just saying.

I am by no means an expert but I've heard that its in the 5000 mile range. My Durango R/T (2014) seemed to break in by then.

Cool. I should be somewhere between 3k and 4k miles before I have to move cross country.

Loving this cover. Withstood Tropical Storm Irma's 40+ mph winds and 12+ hours of rain. No water in the bed anywhere. Can't beat that for $229 via Amazon :roflsquared:

I was looking at the cover on amazon, I have a 2017 ram express reg cab and it is telling me it doesn't fit, I know we have a 6.4" bed. Is 6.5" cover that much of a difference?

It said the 5.7 didn't fit my truck either. Just make sure you're buying the right one and it'll fit fine.

Moving to Monterey, CA, to learn another language on the Air Force's dime.

Rebel is awesome. I have noticed that the pass side of my front bumper, where the gap between it and the headlight, is about 1/3 of an inch bigger than the driver side. Not a huge deal. Otherwise it's been an amazing 1k miles so far!!

Also picked up a 75 Plymouth Duster (slant 6) for my son. 78k original miles and has been sitting in a garage for the last 25 years.
I think it's a great project for him, and hopefully keep him out of trouble....he's 17[emoji15].

Nice! You have a pm. That may well be the one we were looking at.

The people that owned the truck before me drilled holes in the fender and didn't seal it. It caused rust to bubble up.

I sanded it down and installed ebay fender flares after color matching them. Not too bad for $125.

Looks good , I got some also not a bad deal . I left mine black but I like the color match white too. Did you have them painted or did you do it .

Got some hood vent decals . May also go with a mat black decal on the raised part of the hood .

I painted mine. The black makes the fender gap look huge. I used color matched paint and 2k clear coat. The color match isn't 100% because my truck has faded some over the past 5 years.

I detailed mine in the garage, then drove it out to my driveway in the sun so myself and passerby's could enjoy it. Then I put it away last night. This morning it rained so it was high and dry unlike the reason I detailed it. My Tonneau cover is supposed to be here tomorrow on Fed Ex.

I detailed mine so now it's really nice and purdy. Good thing I put it away last night because it rained. 80% chance of rain today and 100% tomorrow. By Friday, there I'll be looking at snow from my house. :puke: At least it will help with our fires.
