^I hate you right now, well except that grille. I was so close recently to pulling the trigger and going CC_Rebel myself.

Lol I measured at least 5 times and then demil cut the rectangles to fit slowly lol, and those panels are actually thick so no reinforcement was needed at all

Ill have to see if i still have the pix from when i built them

Oh you'd better have some pics, or else I'se guns her-ass ya and say to pull them and take a pic of the empty pocket. ;)

Part of my interest is that honestly at some point if my front cover is ever damaged i'm switching to a steel painted to match like you got and that's how I'll setup my fogs.

LOL, nope no build pix of em, it was just a lot of measuring and cutting a rectangular hole for em to fit in :superhack:

The good: Hauled my dad's '66 Mustang to shop to be media blasted. Car is now stripped clean.

The bad: On the way there, drove on a road with a walnut tree hanging over the road and got a dent in the hood when one dropped. :flipthebird:
Then on the way back ran over a roof ridge vent some roofer didn't secure his load, caused rear tire inner wall puncture that couldn't be repaired. :flipthebird:
Also caused damage to rear well liner, cut through like a knife to warm butter when tire flung it up and broke my mud flap.

I was hoping to just replace back two tires and make it through the winter, but tire shop recommended I go ahead and replace all 4 since they were the factory Goodyear Wranglers and with only 10,000 miles left on them, they'd be crap on snow. So, $775 later, I've got a new set of Yokohama Geolander A/T G015. Wasn't planning on that expense until spring. Oh well, such is life.

Yeah that does suck, but the Goodyucks are crappy tires anyways.
Good luck!

So what was post to be a simple shock removal and replacement. the lower control arm shock bushing seized in there so went to remove the lower control arm to at least get it out where I could work on it. Then that turned into the rear control arm bushing be seized up at well.... we beat the **** out of it with a 20lbs sledge didn't even budge...after all other options didn't work I was fed up and just decide to cut the rear control arm bolt. After doing a cost comparison to getting new bushings or a complete lower control arm decide to go with a whole control arm manly cuz they will have it here Tuesday as the bushing wouldn't be till Wednesday.
So until tomorrow the truck sits on jack stand.

What did you do on your thanksgiving? Haha

Trying to decide between painting and covers for mine. Like the way your look. What brand of paint? Happy with the results?

I was also on the fence as for getting covers but seeing that I painted them prior figure its been 2 yrs since I touched them. I had the few cans of these laying around and they stand out. Put 3 coats on and I'm pleased with outcome. Got a some over spray to clean up may just hit th spacers with some black.10be305605cdcc0e033c62873f5bd827.jpg07f24147b82e093cfc88d016e16e7b79.jpg

Installed 1/2 an HID kit but had to pull it out when one of the bulbs in the kit was DOA. The 5k bulb matches well with the stock LED fog light on the Rebel
