Got a couple of scrap projector lenses to practice a couple of different design ideas.

Nice! Reminds me of my 1980 F250, 460 big block, 9” suspension lift, 3” body lift, with 44” groundhogs! Those were the good old days...just don’t miss the mpg!

I didn't see anyone else ask.

Is that Mazda pulling the Ford? :signs8:

Well... Today I went on the app and noted my mileage hasn't changed. Did some browsing for upgrades when I get back to her in May. In January I gave her a good bath and polish before putting the cover on. Damn working overseas, but it pays for the cost of a good looking truck... lol

I have less than 12k miles currently. I'd have far less than that if I didn't go home for 3 months driving 200 miles a day 5 days a week. Took 3 hours to get to work and home. Friggin Seattle traffic sucks!

Really like the caliper covers :) Getting some sort of leveling kit (undecided)... Plan to get the bed lined (whats the preference here for liners? Planning for a professional spray in.)

I already have a catback and CAI installed. So just browsing for good looking things at this point.

Received a nice size door ding from taking my family to the lake and having 20mph winds apparently letting another car door swing into mine. Obviously no one was around when I got back to the truck. Ass

So I guess this is one instance where the steps didn't help much, huh? I always wondered how they were supposed to prevent such things, but I imagine they do if truck is lifted a little and manage to intercept an errant door a little higher.

Pulled off the big old heavy Leer 180 camper shell and installed a tri-fold bed cover. I am a volunteer fireman (when I have time), I had an extra set of tier 4 type blue LED lights in the goody box in the garage so I built a bracket to mount them on each side of the rear license plate in a slanted position that allows me to still use my trailer light sockets. I got stuck with a single cab long bed 4x4 when I traded trucks, Ive tried and still working on making this thing into something I can enjoy and use. Sometimes I am glad it is a single cab long bed over a quad cab short bed for several reasons. Reminds me of my old 1977 Ford F150 I had. She ran on 14.35/15 Gumbo Mudders on 10x15 wheels and a 6" lift. Good old days!

Man, that is a good looking truck. Much better than o anticipated from your “I got stuck” comment, lol.

I had a ‘73 C20 4x2 that was lifted on some kind of gumbo mudders 20 years ago. 10mpg was a good day!

That’s why you don’t let them drive :)

When my wife and I were dating, I let her drive my RAV4 pretty much anywhere she wanted to go.

After repairing two different front bumpers, a back bumper and a garage door since we got married less than two years ago, I’ve gotten a bit gun-shy...

It’s just a truck, but I get nervous every time she drives it.

Installed MGP caliper covers and washed her up real nice.

Those wheels and the caliper covers look AWESOME!

I hope mine would - my magnum steps would probably mess up another door though...

Oooh! My truck has been stuck in a hole for 2 days - 6 different trucks, a winch, 2 broken straps and a pile of muddy clothes later, and I’m waiting on a jeep with a winch and 4 snatch blocks to come on the scene before I call in some professional reinforcements.

Note to self - don’t take pretty truck off-road.

So did your factory logs finally warp or did you get these to outrun Cayennes?

TXCOMT

Didn't warp and I'm not sure about those Cayennes. The last one I tried right after my tune, ate my lunch. When I finally caught up to it I noticed a little "S" on the tailgate. I think it stood for "good fast". LOL

Did my simple power steering maintenance a bit early but I figured I could do it again come spring!

Sucked out all the ATF+4 (down to the black plate). Refilled with RL C+.

Once we select our new 5th wheel & begin towing more often I will perform this service more often- only takes about 15 min.

Holy Frijoles Batman! I think a tractor or dozer might be in order on this one. I would try sticking as many sticks and logs under those tires as possible as well, to get more traction. What air pressure do you have in those tires? Airing down to around 15psi will really help cleaning out those slicked over tires.

EDIT: I see all the sticks now...

They are over pressured for sure. I wasn’t planning to get in over my head. Will do that too.

So you've got 3,300 miles on your rig and you're already changing the PS fluid? How much turning do you do, man?

Considering I only am able to suck out less then a half quart each time I do this service.
I figured the whole system maybe contains 2-3 quarts. (Maybe a bit less)
& This is my 2nd time doing this I still have a ways to go before I feel I have a large amount of RL C+ flowing throughout the whole system!

Once again: I figured I best start early with this procedure to achieve the best benefits of the C+.

Similar to changing your engine oil or transmission oil much earlier. Though each time I do it - I'm only removing a very small amount!
My service is much cheaper & less time consuming then either & just piece of mind.

Only thing I could think was it was a sedan type vehicle or other with doors that arent the straight up and down type, but have a curve to the door so the lower part went over my step but the higher part stuck out and got it. I am still sour about it
