Bed rugs are great. I couldn't find one for the longer rambox bed so I grabbed a used one from a Chevy and trimmed it to fit. For $30 it's perfect.

I’m going up to Quick_Shifter’s shop-ak_trucks_pa- this weekend to have Amp steps installed & transmission service done, 8-speed at 75k. I’ve posted before going to his shop is like going to your favorite barbershop. A top shelf mechanic obsessed with doing the job right & as a bonus a great guy to hang out with, been looking forward to this trip all summer! So I searched the forum for a thread like this and didn't find anything. I figured it would be fun to have a thread that everyone can watch what everyone is doing each week.
This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.

Looks good. But just a caution I had a mount in similar position and with this dog heat because none of the air vents hit the device it would run hot(my phone). I ended up getting a mount that goes over that left vent and the device stays cool. Maybe you will not have that problem though.Mailman just came
I’ll play around with it to see which position I like best.

Hey SoCalRamFan, nice move on the mounting system. One can quickly spend a lot of cash at Bulletproof solutions. lol I grabbed one of their dual 20MM ball setups. Rock solid that thing is too. One thing is for sure, Bulletproof has the goods for us Ram owners!!!
Oh yeah, that Bulletpoint stuff is built to withstand. I went with the dual ball mount only because CB's got some weight to them. Nobody wants gear flopping all over the place, especially when they're driving. Cause potholes happen, everywhere. lolThanks.
I kind of bought blindly, as I’ve never actually seen on in person…. only online and pics etc. So when it came, as I‘m sure you can attest, it’s solidly made, fits great, very versatile…… and best of all ‘Made in the USA’.
I was tossing around between single vs dual set-up, and went single as my use is for a back up camera mount.
Great product
Great idea. I ended up mounting my CB just below the Aux switches and angled into the console.I only went with the dual ball mount to hold the weight of a CB while driving. This setup is very firm and secure. Nothing touches the bezel, or the dash. And I still have an unobstructed view of the front end. I added a set of articulating arms so I can position this wherever it needs to be, with little to no issue. Now all I have to do is finish this job up. I have 2 holes to drill, install grommets with the coax, power for the radio, and a pair of USB C cables for the addition of a pair of Qi chargers.
Nice, what's all the stuff you carry?

Had a great time at Quick_Shifters shop today! He did the transmission service, installed the Amp power steps, s&b cai-replacing the K&n I had installed when I first got the truck- & suspenion max end links. He isn’t satisfied until the job is done right, the fit & finish with the wiring for the steps looks factory, I would wager probably better. The only shop for my truck!I’m going up to Quick_Shifter’s shop-ak_trucks_pa- this weekend to have Amp steps installed & transmission service done, 8-speed at 75k. I seen that. And that is a great idea. I swap radios way too often for me to utilize that nice little spot. But your setup is nice, laid out nicely, and real functional. Looks like it belongs. And that is all one can ask of their upgrades and mods...

Oh hellyeah! ... Let me know would be cool to meet yah' ...Picked it up at a radio shop in Anaheim a few months ago.
There’s a specialty shop in Ontario that another member pointed me to. ‘Superior CB’, Chris is the owner and absolutely knows his stuff. I’ll actually be heading out there next week to have a little upgrade done. I’ll give you a heads up when I do
