At the rate I rack up miles, it will take me another 7 - 8 years before I hit that point.

My usage will drop off a lot soon. I won't be using it for work after January, and i picked up a jeep for weekend driving.

I ordered a Tazer DT so I could make some changes to my DRL’s, remote start, power folding mirrors, and make custom light shows plus a whole lot of other changes!

Picked up the truck after the two exhaust manifolds cracked while on our 1.5 month, 7k mile RV trip...also had the tank pulled and checked for non complete tank fill ups, as well as the auto stop start checked out due to quitting a few ti.we while in these states, due to heat.

Pulled the Husky mats and gave them a shake. Oh, and I broke it in last week when I dropped a taco behind the center console and when I reached back to grab it, it fell apart and rolled under the seat. Got little pieces of cheese still finding their way forward.

For a softer ride?

@Tulecreeper , no.
The stock springs didn't work well with the level I installed on the front, as well, I was not happy with the performance towing or travel trailer.

Now the truck is sitting better, and my hope is it tows better.
I went with the slight increase in capacity and non variable rate

I drove it today, and it rides nice, but I now need to get a set of sway bar end links as the truck sits about 3in taller.

New ARE camper shell/topper Tuesday and installed a Bed Rug today. It would be easier to do this in reverse. First the bed Rug kit and then the shell. But I don't do things the easy way. Then I had an AMP bed step on the shelf from a former 2014 RAM truck. It worked but I had to use different bolts as the ones on the truck have a washer that won't come off and won't fit in the recess holes on the bed step. Maybe the new steps come with the correct bolts. The lower plastic trim below the bumper that has the back up cameras, etc. cause the step to fit a little awkward but not too bad. Might actually make it easier to get my foot on the step.

Hmmmm. Is this where I get the "what's a 5th Gen and what's not speech..." LOLOLOLOL

I added to my existing Ditch Light Brackets with the single LED Pods that I put on last weekend.

I added extender plates that allow for two LED Pods on each Ditch Light Bracket (for a total of 4 LED Pods) and also added the CB Antenna mount/extender. I then added the Firestik base/coax and 3 foot Firestik. See pictures.

Two pods per side. They are wired left and right so I can spot one side or both sides independently.

Next week I'm adding the UHF antenna extender and the UHF antenna on the Drivers side.

Once I have that antenna on, and everything is exactly where I want it, I'll paint the bolts with flat black Rust-O-Leum.

Mounting hardware (last picture):

- dual LED pod adaptor plates $35
- CB antenna mounting adaptor $24

Fuse Box under the dash (instead of running more wires through the firewall).

Last week, I also installed a Painless Fuse Block (has relay, 3 constant and 4 switched) under the dash.

I plan on pulling the relay switched power from the brake light pedal wiring. It's 3 amp.
Positive will run back through the firewall to the the battery. It comes with an inline fuse.

For all of you "hobbyist" out there.... I know I could have put this together from scratch, cheaper, but considering the cost of wiring and >>>> time, this is a great value to just "get-er done!"

I am very satisfied with the quality of assembly/workmanship and all of the wires are ----> labeled as well as have more than sufficient length. It actually was more/better than I expected. This will make wiring up my Dash Cam, CB, other in-cab stuff.................... easier.

This block is the perfect size. LIKE IT WAS MEANT TO GO RIGHT THERE.

No drilling required. Hole was perfect where it existed on the dashboard frame right forward of the center console.

I fabricated the backing plate from a simple piece of 24 Guage plate. Used a big wing nut on the mounting bolt for ease of removal for access back past it in the future. Back past meaning to under center dash past the ignition button.

Happy Holidays to all on the forum. Thanks for the great pics and ideas. For those contemplating purchasing a RAM, you won't be disappointed.
Right back at Ya!

I love this forum for all the tech and other ideas. But hanging out around here has a high drag coefficient effect on my allowance....... (too many "small" ideas to spend money on that add up). LOL at me.
