2016 rebel with most options to include sunroof, 53.5 msrp. 2yo with 27k miles and 1 year remaining b2b warranty. 1 owner who already put 2k in shoes on, bfg ko and 18" rims..luv em. 34.5k+tax. Financed most @1.9%. To buy same truck new with incentives at the time was going to be +10k. Almost got a new base Laramie cc 4wd 5.7 w/sunroof, would have been 39ish+tax. The rebel is a fantastic truck, best riding out of all i test drove. No regrets

2018 Laramie 1500 CC, Hemi, 3.21 gears, 6’4” bed, bright white. Bought used in July with almost 12k miles on the clock. It was a rental fleet vehicle for Enterprise, so it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles like many Laramies. However, it’s got everything I need and then some! Paid $32,500+ttl. $12k down, the rest financed at 2.9%.

Just helped my brother buy a new 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Express quad cab 4x4, V6, 3.55 gears today.

MSRP $39925.

Paid $33800+TTL.

Sweet Jeezuz that's a lot of dough for a very basic truck.

*******, I sure hope that by “helped my brother buy” you don’t mean co-signed the loan. Nearly $34K is nuts for an Express w/ a V6. He could’ve found a leftover ‘18 Big Horn with a HEMI in it for that price. I wouldn’t want to make myself financially responsible for someone that gung-ho to get into just any truck!

Helped as in have been looking at late model used with him for about 2 months. Looked at a bunch of lease returns and previously farted in rentals. All 2017-18. big horns, SLTs, expresses.

A new leftover 2018 Big Horn 4x4 hemi, QC for under $34k?? Not a chance w/in 500mi of me. You can find 2017 lease returns with miles just under 20k for about $33k. That's the route I suggested he go. He wanted new and liked the Pentastar a lot after driving both. He only tows a small boat occasionally.

He buys his trucks and keeps them 10-12yrs. Traded in his rusty 2007 F150 xlt 2wd triton for the new RAM. That took an additional $3500 off the above.

Sticker prices aren't much different than what my 2017 showed. I bought mine used in the spring of 2018 for $22900 and mine stickered for ~$40k, but that was an unusual find and basically why I bought it in the first place. I hear you though. To me it makes better financial sense to buy 1-2yrs old.

New 2016 Lonestar (26R) 5.7L A8 4x4 3.21 LSD - 46990 Sticker
33,900 + Line-X (Forgot how much) + $250 for 30% Tint all the way around + TTL in Jan 2016

For a while Bluebonnet Dodge had this pricing going on for new 4x4 Lonestar's all in this configuration and 2WD Lonestars for a bit less. I know guys that went to other dealers and paid a bit more for the same exact truck around that time. It's the same dealer I got my '17 SPS A8 24Y (45,290 Sticker) for $39999 in late 2016 when the dealer had just taken delivery. They had plenty of '16s but they wanted more for non shaker base config scats.

Gotcha. It’s his money, so as long as he’s good with it, that’s the only thing that matters. Hopefully she provides many years of flawless service!

weird, it might be your area, i coulda got a brand new express hemi 4x4 quad cab for 30k+ fees back in 2015, thats why im like that v6 truck is sub 30k. Instead i got a 2014 quad cab 4x4 hemi bighorn with like 20k miles for 28k + fees back in 15.

Hmm.... I walked away from a deal - $33,500 for a ~$47k ‘19 Big Horn w/HEMI eTorque. In the end wasn’t convinced about eTorque and the truck had the front bench (want the console). Search continues...
