What Fuel Tank Strap

What fuel tank strap will fit my 1982 Dodge W350 standard cab, 360 -T 4wd (2 door snow commander). No one seems to know or they can't be found from what I have searched. I'm in desperate need of a new set. They say most things fit from 82 to 93 but even the dealerships can't or wont help. Any help would be appreciated.

LMC has some straps listed for 88-93. I salvaged a set off a parts truck I had. but the other set, (restoring 2 old dodges) I had to fab some from sheet metal from a 92 D150 bed side, plasma cutter and welder. I used the first set as a template though.

when it comes to something like this i usually just make my own. it is really not too hard to make fuel tank straps. just make sure to fold the metal over at the ends to double up where they may bolt or lock in

What sort of end does the strap use? 6" and 8" frame channel uses different straps. The 6" strap uses two-bolt holes. The 8" uses a T-shaped end that locks into a slot in the crossmember (similar to 94+ style).

7" is probably unique too, but my 7" frames don't have a factory midship tank to compare with. (70's vintage)
