What implications when installing a slightly smaller tire on my Ram truck?

That's not correct. If dealer told you that. They just didn't want to do it.

Dealers have never been locked out. I have many versions of CDA, including the latest. 6.15.188

There is bug , if you try saving certain values, it effects park sense. But it's not related to software Dealers use, alphaodb, jsan, etc... will all cause the issue.
Are you in Canada? Reason I ask is there are differences between here and the states. One easy one, no selectable option on Canadian vehicles to not have DRL on. You can change it using alpha, like I did, but there are quite a few steps to make it happen. Here the dealer can't do that, nor can they set the low beams to run with the high beams. I would be inclined to think that since the dealer is one I have dealt with for a long time and he was the one that told me where to get alpha that he was being upfront, but I could be wrong.

Yes I'm located in Canada. But I could be in China. CDA software that dealers, aftermarket, including AlphaODB, Jscan , etc... is the same, besides the version.

I posted about the problem in 21, Jimmy posted about it in more detail 3-4 times here and on few others sites.

The example you gave above. Technically Dealer here in Canada can. But they can't legally do it.

AlphaODB can't do anything that CDA doesn't do, it is basically CDA. As Jimmy mentioned it's old version. Jscan is using newer version, which is why it can program 5th fob and alpha can't.

I don't see any difference in mileage with the 20 in or the 17 in wheels on, outside temp , wind type of gas will change it some.
The right foot can really change the mileage, spinning your wheels really screws up mileage, as does sitting idling. But what the hell, you just have to use all that neat power sometimes.

Cool, very good to know. Thanks for posting that. If I was a dealer, and couldn't do something legally, I wouldn't risk doing it either, don't care who the customer is.
