Reached under the dash this morning searching for the connector for electric trailer brake controller. I found it, but also another one with 10 pins. Wondering what this is for as I want to add fog/driving lights. Dash has a switch and instrument panel displays a symbol indicating fog lights.

Might be trailer brake controller port ? Next time I’m out I’ll check mine. Usually they are wrapped up. Weird you have an open one. Did you buy used ?

Edit: what options are you missing ? I noticed you hooked up trailer brake. Could just be spare for the 8.4 screen if you don’t have one. I have an express so very little options on mine. I have various plugs too. Could be a number of things. Heated seats maybe or other fancy options

The wiring harness plug was the other connector I found. Actually there are two behind the dash. Unless I'm mistaken, the other one is for the Mopar brake controller the fits into that row with tow/haul switch.
The truck is new. The connectors were wrapped in foam and tucked up almost behind the center of the dash.
You also mentioned heated seats. While down under the dash, noticed a lot of wires and connectors not connected to anything under the driver seat. Seems to be pre-wired for power seat (which this truck does not have).
I should have taken a picture of the connector for the brake harness but it is now carefully tied out of sight along with the excess cable length so that nothing hangs down or is visible.

The trailer brake controller uses 2 connectors, so that’s what they are for. They are usually wrapped up in foam tape.

As others said, that’s the connector for the factory brake controller. It piggybacks off the slider that is in the dash

Anyone know what the mating connector is? PN or site to buy one??
Looking at Flashlogic remote starter and they tap into 3 wires on that harness. I don't have the trailer module so the connector is just hanging there. Rather make the mating connector to plug in vs cutting into wires

Try looking on Carid or sonic electronix that should lead you to the right part numbers.

Tiped on ifone using Tapatalk and auto correct. Can’t you tell?

They are probably using those wires for CAN data signal, ( Im assuming you have a '19 classic ). Theres a much better spot in the can bus block above the brake pedal.
