Hey guys, I dont know if it recently started happening or I just noticed it now. It kinda looks like feathering to me, and its only on the fronts. Tires have less than 10k on them, grabber ATX. Inflated normally to around 45psi, cranked them up a month ago to 58 to do some towing (my girls mazda 2, about 500 miles) and been driving on them like that since (65 warm). Truck is a 2017 express with 53000 miles on it. Had the wheels road force balanced and aligned by a professional shop in february.New shocks maybe?

What Happens When Shocks or Struts Go Bad?

Put simply, faulty shocks or struts will make it hard to maintain proper control of your vehicle as you drive. As a result, going over a bump or pothole can potentially cause you to lose control.

Signs of shocks going out.
  • Bumpy ride. The most obvious sign of a problem with your shocks or struts is that your car is giving you a much more uncomfortable ride than normal. ...
  • Steering problems. ...
  • Braking problems. ...
  • Fluid leaks. ...
  • Unusual tire tread wear. ...
  • Mileage.
Choppy or scalloped tires wear either on the edges of the tire treads, in the middle of the tread or both. ... When both edges of the tire are worn down, it indicates underinflated tire pressure. Inside or outside wear can also indicate worn suspension components that have caused wheel misalignment.

Lower the psi on them to around 43-45 psi ... 58 psi especially in the front for these tires is going to wear them out very fast ....

As stated above, PSI too high. I got Falkens on my truck and I run em at 41-42 PSI. "C" rated shoes.
