Was crawling around under my truck today and noticed this line or hose was cut and taped up. It comes off the rear brakes. Since ive had the truck ive swapped the out shocks to bilsteins and last year i had to replace bearing in rearend. Possible times it couldve been cut. I know its not the brake line. A vaccum hose possibly?

Ok thanks. Maybe thats why i almost totaled my truck when i hydroplaned a few months ago. I turned away from the wall and hit the brakes and instantly felt like i was on ice straight to the wall. Luckilly my front tire being turned to the right hit the wall first and bounced me off before any of the truck hit. I cant stand putting my truck in shops. Everytime i do i find a problem after getting it out. When i had the bilsteins installed, they didnt put the rear shocks. Luckily i crawled under and noticed it the next day. I had the driver side exhaust manifold bolts changed at a shop(i did the passenger side myself) and they left a vaccum hose disconnected to a valve under my battery. Cant remember what its called. I fixed that. And now this. Its like you almost have to go through your whole truck after taking it to a shop. F****** ridiculous the service you get these days. And these were all 3 different mechanics.

Def be careful bro had a local shop a few months back put the truck up and somehow the rear spring popped loose. It cut my wiring causing the it to send an incorrect code. Its crazy how negligent they can be at times. Tripple check everything. They even tried saying it came in like that. These fools be trippin.

Is your abs warning light on? I believe it should be. It's an ABS sensor wire. Whoever taped it together, obviously knew they cut it.

The actual line doesn't look cut to me. Looks like they used it to keep the line tight or straight in the clamp or maybe to keep from working it's way into the spring and getting damaged. But from the pictures I dont see where the mainline has been repaired.

Those ******* also dented my door while they had it and wouldnt take blame for it. Said it would be a 3 day fix that turned into 10 days.
