what is your choice in oil ??

Never ran Mobil 1 in the Ram. Once I went to Full Synthetic I started with RP but always used the Mobil 1 filter due to the Extended service on them. I recently went to the Amsoil Filter because of my Preferred Customer account I get them for the same price ( including shipping) as the Mobil 1 filters and since I order the oil I just get a filter while I'm at it.

Does this mean you get good prices on Amsoil products?

Not bad prices, but anyone can become a preferred customer by just going to the web site and signing up. I get Amsoil and filter for what I pay local for RP and a Mobil 1 filter. I usually buy the oil in gallon jugs.

5k intervals on engine oil....i swip swap between the mopar filters and mobil1 it all depends on whats on sale....

i switch it up between RP and mobil 1. and for filters mobil 1 or wix. all depends on whats currently cheaper or available. k and n filter, RP in diff, and valvolene in trans. i used to have RP in the trans, but then it blew up... and after needing 18 quarts a few times, RP became a waste of money.

especially since unlike all synthetics, all ATF+4 are actually the same. Walmart brand vs royal purple. Only difference is the price tag.

I run Mobil1 and mobil1 filter. I change it every 3k. Not because I am a 3k guy though. I only put 9k miles on my truck a year and I hate to be waiting 6 months for an oil change.

I recently went full synthetic in both trucks.... Castrol for the Ram... Never heard of this, but Wolf's Head full synthetic went in the Rango. I guess thats the brand the ol man gets from whoever he orders parts from for his shop, and he paid for the last oil change on the Rango (I did the work, but free materials ftw!) Can't be too bad a oil though, Im hoping.....

Used a Napa filter on the Rango, and I think purolator gold on the Ram....
