What part is this?

I was under my truck last night making sure all the nuts were tight and making sure nothing was leaking and found this. I have never worked on this part and have no clue what it is. You can see int he picture the small round filter should have that 1" hose connected to it, but its not. What part is this? Is is something major and I shouldnt drive my truck until its fixed?

Looks like a carbon canister filter for the fuel system.

Where can I find the part to replace it? I have called Napa, Auto zone, Advance and Orileys. None of them could help. I want to avoided calling dodge cause I know their prices are through the roof but if I have too I can. It looks very simple to replace. I would have duct taped the hose back on if the piece that holds the filter and hose together didnt break of so evenly that it doesnt stick out of the hose or filter. It doesnt hurt to drive my truck around until it gets fixed right?

The Evap filter that is broken is fairly cheap to replace, just get it from the dealer. It won't hurt your truck for a short time, but if you leave it like that the system may start to fill with dirt which will cause problems.
