What Size Tire?

So I just got a set of rebel wheels with tires. They’re factory tires at 285/70/17. I had a set of factory 20’s with 275/65/20’s that I sold. Truck is leveled with Bilstiens at 2.8” and the back with a 1” spacer. 2 questions: 1) what size are guys running with the 17” wheels. 2) what A/T type tire are you running?

I've got Toyo AT3 in 305/70r17 on my Ram stock rear suspension 2" Rough Country level kit.

285 is the widest you can put on factory 17" wheels because of clearance at the upper ball joint.

I have 285/70r17 Continental terraincontact a/t, no complaints. Bigger tires would fit but I care a lot more about utility than cosmetics and these do what I need. Can't fit bigger than 34" in the spare location anyway.

Factory Rebel wheels are 17x8 +18 offset. You should be able to fit 305/70/17 or 315/70/17 tires with a level. I'm running BFG KO2 315/70/17 myself on 17x9 -12 wheels.

On my 2010(really regret trading in) 3.92 gears.I was 285/70/17 duratracs... they seemed to last forever

On my 2016 I went 285 75 17 toyo ATiii
They are far quieter than the duratracs but I find toyos are not as wide as other brands in the same size. Of.course they fill the wheel well out but this truck being 3.21 gears you can feel a difference from when I had 285 70r17 on it to going up in size
