I get a consistent 24mpg. I don't tow, but I live in the mountains. MPG plunges going up a hill but I get 99mpg (making gas) on the downside.

I put an MBPR cat back on my 2019 3.6, sounds great, less weight and it has to flow better than the stock. Not sure if it helps the MPG but it can't hurt.

I would like to know is there anything I can do to get better gas mileage with out breaking the bank?

Maintain the correct tire pressure, and go easy on the 'GO' pedal.
Those are the least expensive solutions.

A good light-weight highway tire like Michelin Defenders that isn't oversized and has a load rating sufficient for your needs will help with mileage, especially if you currently have big, fat, E-rated 35s.

If your truck is a grocery getter/driveway princess, get C-rated tires because they're lighter and use less energy to move.

What make, model, size, and load rating of tires are you currently using?
And what air pressure?
