I just want more power overall in my new ram, I don't really want to add an amp or anything just a nice overall upgrade via sub and maybe even all speakers if suggested.

What would some of you suggest to shoot for?

They make a lot of the all-in-one powered sub options that would work well for you. I've had the infinity and rockford ones in the past. Since it's inside the cab you won't need much power to get the bass your wanting most likely. You just tap the speaker signal and you're good to go with all of the rest factory set up. I tend to just add the bass in my vehicles unless I really hate the entire set up. I'll bet there's going to be a lot of options for boxes and subs with the amount of space under the seats.

I've got a 2018 with stock 6 speaker system and 8.4" screen. To get more bass in my truck I went with a powered, compact subwoofer (like what SilverBullet85 suggested.) They are designed to fit under the seat (usually the back seat, but could be the passenger front seat) or behind the back seat. They are maybe 13" X 10" X 3" (very slim) and have an amplifier built into them. They don't require any structural changes to your truck, that is, you won't be building custom box enclosures or adding power amps.

I got the Rockville USS8, an 8" powered subwoofer and stuck it behind the back seat of my Big Horn. With the added space in the back seat of the 2019's you could probably get a 10" powered sub to fit on the floor behind the seat.

Here are some brands/models you could investigate:
Rockville USS8 or USS10
Cerwin Vega VPAS10
Kicker Hideway

Maybe take a look on Amazon.

Besides a subwoofer your next move should be to replace the corner dash speakers. At a minimum a powered subwoofer and corner dash speakers--that would be my two moves.

Easiest is adding the mopar kicker sub as it's made to add to that system. Since you don't have a factory sub any sub you install will require a way to get audio signal and an amplifier to power it or one of the all in one systems. Quite a few options for under the seat enclosures. There is a fairly lengthy thread on adding a subwoofer under rear seat that shows a ton of options depending on budget. I still don't know how to link a thread. Perhaps @corneileous can do it. It was his thread originally.

Thanks man for the info.

I will definitely look at the fronts as well, any recommendations? I was lookin at the mopar kickers but not sure if they'd work in the 19s

Even if you can just paste the url that would be great. Is it a major deal to add something like this on your own? I'm definitely a fan of nothing needing to be super invasive to the truck

Edit: liking what I'm reading about the cerwin

When you say, "looking at fronts as well", do you mean the corner dash speakers or do you mean the front door speakers?

I have a whole thread about it here:

That was my first choice but I didn't think it would fit in my 2018. But I am very happy with the 8" Rockville.

By "easy tap into the subs" do you mean a factory installed wiring plug-in that is tucked away and just waiting to be used? I don't think there is, but I'm not certain.

Powr yea, wasn't sure if there was a connector somewhere that would let me hook up a woofer fairly easy.

So I'm definitely going to buy my sub, those pioneers you listed on Amazon and I need to pick out some front dash speakers.

Does the Mopar kicker sub replace the sub that comes with the Alpine 19 speaker system? Does it help?

it's made for the 6 speaker system but it does go on the 40 side so it's possible you could add it to the 9 speaker set up,but I'm not 100% sure

Guys, please be aware you are in the 5th gen section. There are no OEM like aftermarket options as of this time for the 5th gens.

Did you install anything yet? I'm wondering how it went. I bought the 6x9 pioneer, but see that Crutchfield has some suggestions. I am returning the pioneer speakers and am waiting until someone has replaced speakers in the 2019 to hear how it went.
