The spacer would still center to the hub on the truck and the lugs should center it with the adapter

What kind of back space do your wheels have?

I've been running wheels adapters for about 35k miles now but they'll be coming off in about two weeks, Im just not comfortable with them even though Ive never had any real problems

If you don't want to run spacers, you can always buy hub centric rings for the lug centric wheels.

Like it was mentioned, most all wheels are lug centric (to a degree). The bore on the wheel is larger than most vehicle hubs so that they can be used on a large array of vehicles. You can buy hub rings to match the wheel bore and your hub bore so they become hub centric.

As far as spacers go, Ive used them and I know a lot of people who have/do. I have never heard of any issues associated with running spacers (wheels falling off, studs breaking, etc).
As long as you use a quality spacer with pressed in (quality) studs you will be fine. You can also run longer studs and a spacer (w/out built in studs) but they are more work and usually end up costing more.

A lot of people don't like spacers or fear them, when IMO you have a lot less to worry about than those people who run a 1/4 spacer and stock studs... I would put a 100K miles on a set of spacers w/built in studs before I would put a 100 miles on vehicle running a 1/4 spacer and lug nuts with only 3-4 turns on them.

Well I'm calling them spacers but there the 1 1/2 T6 aluminium rings with the studs in them .Should I be looking at hubcentric one even with my after market wheels. And I'm not sure of my back spacing but it sucks, nut very deep in the front and to much wheel under the truck.I'm sure some people like the tires under the truck ,not me.....

Those are spacers with pressed in studs..
Buy the spacer to match the hub bore on the truck otherwise you will be figting vibrations at higway speeds.
The wheel will then bolt to the spacer just as they would to your hub. The spacer isn't going to match the hub bore and the wheel bore unless you have a set custom made or you buy a set of hub rings.
