Ok so I ordered some wheels and didn't realize the offset was +18 and with my 6 inch lift it hits the tie rod so I can't fully steer. I'd need a 1 inch or 1.25 spacer. My only concern is my truck takes alot of punishment more often then not and idk how well the spacers will hold up. I'm just afraid they'll lose up and break or fall off etc etc. Just looking for some experience and maybe a brand to go with.

I've got a set of 1 in on my brute force 750 30in tires sees alot of hard running tons 2feet high or more jumps. I had a set of 1.5in on a Ford ranger that I towed with ran the dog crap out of it was lowered on 18in mustang wheels tons of drag strip and corner burning. I've seen them fail but I've never had one. You have to install them like new wheels. Torque them to spec. ride about a day retorque them. I do it for a week straight then one time a month but I'm also ocd about tires and brakes. I just run ebay spacers get the ones with cone lug nut type seats.

BlownGP, Which one's did you order? Their discriptions are a little confusing LOL. Just looking for a 1.5" spacer from there, and there seems to be a ton of options.

I just e-mailed them what I wanted.
I was a custom width and bolt pattern.

Just contact them and tell them what you want. They will take care of you.

Motorsport Tech's BORA spacers are the ones you want. Anything that's not hub centric will give you issues and is simply not safe. BORA spacers are custom machined specifically for your truck when you order and are great quality. Pricy... but worth the money seeing as they're going to be holding your wheels/tires onto your truck.

I run their 2" spacer on my 3500 with my stock wheels/37's during the winter. I've gone offroading, towed 10,000 lbs, and put tens of thousands of miles on them with no issues at all.

Not sure I'm buying into the whole BORA thing. You guys make it seem like they have a monopoly on the spacer market. I find it hard to believe there is not at least one or two other companies with a strong reputation.

Mine are Hub Centric and machined just like Bora or any adapter.

And YES I work in a Machine shop. A CNC is a CNC. Yes some have different axis's and use different software for writing programs. But machining a part is no different.

In some ways they do. They have built their reputation to provide a good quality product that is built to suit your application and will last. There are very few companies building good products like they are and none of them are well known because they haven't built their reputation up like Motorsport Tech has. They are out there, just not as easy to find.

But as gasser said, if you want go ahead and buy the cheap lug centric ones. But when your front wheel falls off and you put your truck in the weeds don't come back blaming anyone but yourself.

Woah woah.... let's not go saying every adapter is CNC'd and hub centric just like BORA. That simply isn't true. Yes there are other companies out there making CNC'd hub centric spacers but few and far between. I'm not saying the ones you have aren't good; they're probably right on par with BORA. But as I said above, BORA has built their reputation up for a reason and are the most well known spacer/adapter company out there for the truck game. Heck, the owner himself owns a 2012 1500.

Well, yeah sure you could make them on a manual lathe if you want, but if want to make money. It would be wise to use a CNC.

This.

The holy grail of spacers and you have to modify your factory studs? Now that doesn't sound safe to me.

Emailed them about some 1.5" hub centric spacers and they gave me a price of $219. So for $30 more I can jump on the bandwagon, and get a lifetime warranty. What happened to $149?
