Wheel spacers?

If still looking for longer studs; I found the Dorman 610-509 to be approx 1/2" longer than stock. They fit nice and tight in the hubs as well.
I hope he's not still looking. That was over 2 years ago!
Good info for the next guy though.

This is not something that i have looked at seriously

But something does pop up, when it comes to wheels, rims, etc.

I seem to recall, that the nut is suppose to be threaded on by at least 7 turns ??

but, all brands are different, with spacers & without

I was taught Rule of thumb for fastener is the fasteners must engage beyond the diameter of it.

Which holds true based on your link.
1/2-20 stud is 20 threads per 1 inch. So for the 1/2" stud you'd want the minimum of half that which is 10 threads (10 turns).
