Hey guys I'm new to this forum, I own a 98 ram 1500 5.2L V8. Right now I have 285/75 R16 tires on my truck but I want them to stick out a little more. I will be purchasing fender flares soon and was wondering if you guys had any thoughts on wheel spacers? Are they safe? Would you recommend them?

i have a set for sale if you want to buy, best set you can buy... hub centric is what you need and what i have and mine are 1.5 wheel adapters not spacers which are much safer

they can be safe if installed right and if you dont go cheap on them, never go for the cheaper price on a set of wheel spacers.

Skip the spacers and get a set of wheels with some more backspacing

I've been running 1.5" for over 30k miles now and they will be coming off as soon as wheels are in the budget.
They are harder on the drivetrain and can be dangerous.

Ok thanks guys, are 2" adapters too much? Would 1.5" be safer in any way?

Ok thanks, on a side note does anyone know where to get matching honey comb grill inserts for the front bumper next to the fog lights?
