I'm thinking of running wheel spacers on my 13 ram 1500 cc. I've ran them on my 95 camaro for years without any problems. I made sure I bought a quality hub centric set. I'd like to hear some input from people who have personally used them on there trucks. Either good or bad. Trying to make an Educated decison. I want to run either 2" or 1.75".

When I had my 33s I ran 2" eBay hubcentric spacers for a couple thousand miles, no issues, made sure to properly torque and loctite them. They didn't wear out any parts either. Stepped up to 35s, went to 20x12 rim, took them off because it rubbed like crazy. Eventually got 4" more of lift, spindles pushed my front tire out about 1.5" more, so I added the 2" spacers in the back and got some .25" for the front, I did a front end rebuild with new tie rod ends, ball joints, and control arms because I couldn't pass up the deal I got on the kit. So far no issues, I've gone offroading, nothing too crazy, and I've towed about 1500 lbs with them, works fine for me.

Excellent. I was planning on buying some quality spacers and replacing the studs with some high strength arp studs for piece of mind. My truck is stock ride height so I figured it wouldn't be much added stress. Trucks are designed to be loaded up. So I figure this wouldn't make a much of a difference on durability

BORA makes a very high quality wheel adaptor. They're hub centric as well. I had their 1.5" adaptors on my last truck for 35,000 kms without a single issue. I towed a lot too. Great product!

I second Motorsport Tech's BORA spacers. I run their 2" spacers with my stock wheels and 37's during the winter (and for a year when I first lifted my truck) and haven't had any issues at all. They've stood up to offroading, towing 10,000 lbs, and 45,000km of daily driving. Great product and company to deal with.

Agree. So far bora has been good. I run 1.75 upfront and 1.5 rear. I had to cut for the 1.5 tho. But went off-road the other day and no issues.

Some tire shops won't touch vehicles with wheel adapters. That's one drawback.

As others have said, BORA is the way to go. Made in the USA too.

This is exactly what I was hoping to hear. Does anybody have pics of their trucks with spacers? That white one looks killer. Can't tell but are those Stock sport wheels?

Thanks for this thread, guys. I'll be receiving my 2" hubcentric ebay wheel adapters on Tuesday and I was worried everything would work out. Sounds like I'm over thinking the matter. The blue loctite is an excellent idea.

Got my 2" spacers on today. Forgot to take off the washers that hold the rotors on from the factory. Don't forget to take them off so the spacers sit flat!

To hijack this thread....

Is or has anyone used the Rough Country .25" spacer? When my Crapwrangler SRAs are done I want to put 305 wide tires and Bilstiens on with the tires sticking out just a little bit.

At first I thought 2" spacers were a lot. They are well worth it. Not only does it look way more aggressive but I can say that the corning has definitely improved. A lot less body roll.
