That maintenance list looks small

in 2024 on my '12 1500 I did:
TIPM (maks' $900)
Transfer case shift motor (cause I needed to replace the sensor which is embedded) (RA - $200)
Power Steering Pressure line (RA - $40)
Transmission Cooling lines (RA - $120)
Steering angle sensor (aka clock spring) (RA - $450)
Steering wheel Buttons (Wrecker - $40)
Steering wheel wire harness (Wrecker - $10)
Starter (RA - $130)
Battery (Cantire - $300)
A/C Evap core - (RA - $150 plus $400 to recharge)
WIN Module (aka ignition switch) - (Dealer - $500)
Exhaust manifolds (BD Diesel - $650 - they've gone up $100 since)
Drivers side fender (Got a new CAPA for free then $200 for paint supplies)
All the above $$ in CAD not counting shipping or taxes
Umm what else..
The TIPM was one of the first to go I went to the Dealer to look at new trucks 23/24 models. I'm in Canada the truck with the features i did want started at $80,000.. but also came with a ton of features I didn't want like telematics, lane keeping assist, collision mitigation, etc etc. I have a push bar on my '12 and I use it to push stuff, I don't want to be fighting the truck to do the stuff I want to do, like last night I was spreading sand/gravel so I was slow rolling with the door open, 1 foot on the nerf bar, no seat belt.. new truck wouldn't let me do that, hell the wife's '16 Durango wouldn't let me do that.
When I did the manifolds in Aug/Sept I did price out how much to R&R the motor.. $15,000 for a new long block swap over all the accessories, I'd want to slap on a high flow oil pump but the shop told me that would void the long block warranty as they get them assembled and apparently opening it up even just enough to swap the oil pump is enough to void it. grr
My '12 has quirks, but I know them, I'll probably keep the '12 til it dies then I'll still weigh fixing or replacing. But to each person it's a choice as to what's "worth it" I do as much as my own work as I can.
