I really wish you could customize those. I realize they have specific functions on some vehicles, but not every vehicle has the same options.
That's what the 4th gen electronics kit is for.

that doesn't really help me, as I have both rows already taken up. This appears to replace whatever you have/don't have on the bottom row.

I have both rows occupied as well. The point is you can control the seats and steering heat through the display and then have aux switches in the bottom row.

ok- I get it now. I'm a fan of not having to go into the radio panels to turn things on/off. My wife's Explorer doesn't have a heated wheel button and it irritates me to have to go into menus. I'd like it even less to have seat controls buried in the menus also.

Looking to add Aux switches. Not sure if I want to replace the factory switch module with aux switches or add new ones. Anybody have experience with either of these kits?? Besides the fact that I lose the heated seat and heated steering wheel controls and have to go into the radio to turn them on/off, any other reasons to keep or not to keep the factory setup?

Looking at these

I used 4th gen, it’s great to buy from a small business and he is great to work with. Installed easily, works great and is OEM. Love mine.
Also if you have Alphaodb you can make switches momentary if needed.

Does anyone know of a company still offering this kit? All of the ones I have found in any of the threads on this subject are either out of business or the items just say out of stock
