Hi, new to the forum. Just purchased a 2014 Ram 1500 Sport w/hemi
It has a Pro comp lift, but I'm not sure if it's a 4 or 6". I need to get some new shocks and would just like to know. I believe it's a 4" lift, but the front has adjustable coilovers, I thought were only available for a 6".

Any help would be much appreciated. I know it's a bit rusty under there... but got it for a deal

Also and may be good to add. Previous owner put a tire a tad smaller than a 32” on it. Not even stock size tires. Plan is to get different rims and 35’s

Wow. That’s a ton of rust for a 6yr old vehicle...

At first I thought maybe you got a bad/faulty coating on all the ProComp pieces but even the OEM components are toast.

Measure from your center of each wheel hub up to the fender edges and report back with those #s of you can.

Yeah it's been up north quite a bit I think. Body and interior in great shape. 8 speed tranny shifts awesome. Rusty ugly underneath. I'll get those measurements later, but I did measure where the front control arms and the rear links would have bolted up stock, and it's 4" front and back.

The 4" pro comp kit did not come with coilovers only top spacers for your existing OEM setup. You obviously have a aftermarket coilover there. You can replace them with pretty much anything your wallet can afford at this point but your lift is 6".

How we're you able to see that it is a 6" lift?

Just need to confirm, so I can buy the right length shocks for rear and coilover struts for front.

You figure that by just the wheel well gap? Sorry, don't mean to sound like I doubt you. Just really want to get it right. This stuff isn't cheap :(
But if that's the case, keep in mind the tires are on here are just under 32's on 20's. 275/55r20

I saw, my OCD kicked in!
Yeah, I'm going to clean it up under there. The body underneath is mint. And frame isn't bad. Just the components. Replace some of it, undercoat or paint some of it. I'll clean it up

get that measurement that was suggested, hub and lower fender, then we can narrow down.

actually it's not terrible underneath for 6 years old if it's been in salt.

So I measured center of hub (center cap) to the fender. I have about 27.25" up front. 29.5" rear

You need to measure the procomp rear spacer, the 6” kit uses a 4.5” rear spacer while the 4” lift is about 3.25”. The MX 2.75 coilovers were an option on the 6” stage 2 kit.
