Have white noise coming through the speakers when I’m parked - is this normal? I’m assuming it’s a “feature”

Is the radio on, or off. If it's off it could be the noise cancelation feature of the Rams. I'm not sure you're supposed to hear it though. I just got my new baby home last night, and I haven't driven it yet to know if mine does that. It's raining, and it's clean....so it ain't going out just yet.

I’m assuming you are running UConnect V4 Based on the year of your rig. Interesting video I found with a Jeep having a similar issue. I do not recall white noise being a feature of the UConnect but I could be wrong.

He does a few tests to see if it's connected to the engine RPM etc - it would be interesting to see if you have the same symptom. The poster of the video did not indicate if the issue was fixed.

Also, do some general googling on speaker white noise. Back when I was more of an audio geek…grounding, dirty signals caused by bad connections, and overamplification are possible causes. It’s possible that your finals are shot and causing the noise.

Suspect there is a grounding problem somewhere in the electrical. Pulling fuses F97 and F11 did not have any affect for me. Will see if it does help with the...

Thanks brother, if the weather clears I'll get some pictures and post a formal birth announcement. I got it home at approx. 7:30 last night, and parked it in the garage. I gave it a lick, and promise cleaning this morning to get the water spots off that the marvelous PDI team left me. Then it started raining. So, being retired I knew exactly what to do. I went in, sat down, and thought to myself, I'll get to it, when it get to it.
