Besides the leather replacements, who uses seat covers?

I've always gotten the Cordura or similar seat covers for my trucks. Helps keep the actual seats clean from my dirt/concrete/etc. Not worried about re-sale since I usually drive my trucks into the ground. I think my OCD keeps me from sleeping knowing my seats are permanently dirty/stained.

So a few people who have been in my truck always comment on "uh... nice seat covers". I still won't stop using covers, but I was wondering, am I just the equivalent of a little old lady with plastic covers over her sofas? Or like the kid with a pocket protector? I'm turning 45 this month and I'm getting paranoid that I'm turning into the strange old man without knowing it.

I'm running CalTrend "I Can't Believe It's Not Leather" (I know, stupid name, but great product...covers and have since new. I'm guessing that i still have brand new seats underneath. They really don't look like covers though.

I use mossy oak seat covers, I don't want to ruin my seats as I'm usually dirty and greasy getting in and out of my truck

If by remember you mean still use them... then yeah!

I remember my uncle had these in his 73 Mach I. The car was the sweetest thing I had ever seen in my 8 years of life on this earth at that time. But I distinctly remember thinking "why would he ruin such a nice car with these beads?" Maybe now that I'm older, I might actually like them. I guess I'll have to start looking for a Mach I and some beaded seat covers.

i went with Clazzio covers - for the look, i just didn't like the Diesel grey interior tones.

I have Caltrends in my current Ram, but have put covers in all my vehicles for over 20 years. It's so much easier to take them off and wash them once a year. When I traded in my '03 last year, the seats looked like new. I don't think it's an "old man" thing, just an "****" thing. I've always been **** about my vehicles.
