Had old 96 f-150 that sucked towing. Needed a truck for my travel trailer and found the 2013 Ram qc, 5.7, outdoorsman package, alpine system w/8.4, like new, factory spray in bedliner, power fold mirrors and dimming, power rear window, tow package backup sensors and cam, 7 inch evic and all the extras the outdoorsman package gives like factory flares, painted bumpers to match, extra cooling, floor mounted shifter etc. Brand new tires and truck mint with 29k miles for $18,000, couldn't pass it up. Love this truck now. Had 2 years almost to day. When I bought it and now.

IMG_20190315_172940.jpg Since owing(has 55k miles now) Added a 2015 8.4an stereo since the 8.4a didn't have nav or HD radio. A bed cover, think its made by undercover, love it, strong and looks excellent. Replaced interior speakers with better jbl ones and 1,000 watt Amp and 2 12s in fiberglass box. Black wheel skins, using these until tires are worn out then will get wheels, rebel style grill, 2019 style headlights, window vent shades, 13 inch antenna molded floor Matts, changed plugs, rear differential fluid, added catch can, Spectre drop in filter and bullydog tune, monotube shocks. Trying to decide it I want to black out emblems etc.

I've always been a truck guy, I had one in college. I ended up getting rid of it because I was driving way too many miles to get the 6mpg my old truck was getting. Ever since then I've been driving focuses and escapes trying to save money for the day when I wouldn't have to drive so much to buy a new truck, then the baby came. Then the house. Then I was offered a company vehicle the day I was on my way to buy a new truck and the old lady said there's no way you're buying a new truck when you can drive a free car.

I got offered a job with a pretty sizable raise in salary and getting a pre-owned 2017 Ram was definitely in the budget. So I jumped on it and two days later I got my truck finally after waiting ten years. She thinks it's weird that every night I go take it for a spin when I get home from work after driving my company vehicle all day.

I got mine a few months ago because I really just wanted something with some power and 4x4. My oldest brother has always been into trucks so he talked me into it. My last two cars were fast hatchbacks so it's a nice change for me.

I used this simple formula. Take the length of your driveway in inches × average annual precipitation in mm then divide that by number of days you need the truck + the combined lengths of your index finger and big toe in cm then subtract the number of times you shower in a week and then just bought it because I needed one

ive had many vehicles since I started driving back in 93-94. 81 mazda glc hatchback, 82 Pontiac 6000le, 84 ford bronco II, 84 chevy caprice wagon, 67 gmc pickup, 99 ford ranger, 97 explorer, 2001 expedition, 93 buick park avenue, 2013 elantra (my daughter is driving it now), 99 honda civic (bought because it was $600 and well kept) that is a spare vehicle. I bought the ram because I wanted a truck and the rams are simply beautiful! work is only 4 miles away from the house, so I wasn't worried about mileage.

Being totally honest here it was the cheapest newish truck at the time. I had an 05 frontier 2wd that i loved to death but being in minnesota it kinda sucked to drive in the winter so i wanted a 4x4, under 50k miles, and a newish truck. Here i am with a 2015 ram big horn that i got with 32k on it for 22k.

To replace MY 15 ED, with a Hemi. And since I got hossies, and a trailer, and and and, need a truck. Neva will own a car again, just saying. Though if U happen to own a '68 Charger U wanna give away I'll take it, LOL

Sincerely doubt, the New 2019 Toyota Prius Truck will pull my 2200 lb trailer with either 2500 lbs of hossies, or 4-5K of hay, LMAO

Every truck I have ever owned has been a Ram, 96 1500 CC 4x4, 97 2500 CC 4x4, and a cantankerous '98 RCLB 4x2

Replaced the 96 that had 300k miles on it. I needed something that could tow 6k-8k lbs from time to time and I absolutely loved the HEMI. In hindsight I wish had got a QC instead of a RC, but this trim is pretty much the poor man's RT. :D

Also I love the comments I get on the color. 2012 only baby! :happy107:

What kind of fast hatches did you have? My buddy just sold his Focus ST and I had a Mazdaspeed 3 for a few years in my late 20s.

I have mine because I didn't care about gas mileage at the time, figured I'd use it a good bit as I was buying my first home, it had the best ride (rear suspension) when compared to other full size trucks, and the price was pretty dang good.

My wife told me she was embarrassed driving around in my really old Jeep when she had to take it to work. It was my car from high school, I bought for $4000.
Bought a 17' because I like the smoother coil suspension and transmission and it was much less $$ than a comparable Ford or GM (I did really like the 2.7 l Ecoboost engine).
It felt the most like an SUV to me.

Was actually looking at Escalades, but couldn't find a used one reasonably priced. Found this 15 Laramie for a great price with just as much equipment, more backseat room and air ride. Very happy with my choice. The tonneau cover makes a very large sedan that can go anywhere.
Traded a Town&Country in for this. I tried liked it and did it's job, but missed V8 power.

First one was an '02 Mazda Protege 5. Nothing too crazy, but that was probably the most reliable car I'll ever own. Only problem was the alternator at 80k miles and that was it.

The other was an '08 Mazdaspeed 3. That thing was crazy fast. Super fun to drive, but the suspension had all sorts of problems. It sat pretty low too so you had to be careful basically pulling into any driveway.

I have a family of 5 with 3 mid schoolers plus a dog and we like to enjoy the outdoors, so I needed 4x4 and plenty of room for everybody. RAM fitted the bill when looking at other options in Ford, Chevy and Toyota camp especially in the price department. I got a Hemi, 3.92s, 4x4 with LSD, non chrome bumpers, tow pack, cloth seats , radio, a/c, rear camera, standard suspension, didn’t have to buy new pcm to tune it etc etc.
