Will this setup work without any problems? 20x9 XD Spy Black Wheels with Nitto Terra Grappler 295/60/20 All Terrain Tires -12mm offset. bilsteins set at 2.8 up front. Would there be rubbing with this setup it seems like it would be close?

You should be fine, especially with the negative offset.

nice thats what i was thinking. I'm not sure if I want to go with a 33 tire or 35. I will get bilsteins to lift the front and get a spacer to lift the back so I still have a little rake.

How do you like your nitto's? What do you get for gas mileage with those 35's and that 4in lift?

Dude ill be honest with you I love everything about my truck except the gas mileage is baaaaadddd!! I've never had it go over 15mpg. It averages 11mpg.. But I live 3 miles from work and do nothing but around town driving and the occasional out of town visiting of friends and family... I drove it about 500 miles last weekend and it averaged 14.3 if I remember. Then again most if us aren't buying trucks for MPGs. I figured this is what I want and I'm going to pay for it.. :-/ ..

Wow 11mpg, that's not that bad with the setup you have. I will probably end up getting the 305/55/20. I wish my job was closer because I would end up getting the 35's haha. Its alright though I'm sure I will be happy with the 33's. I love the look of the sports yours looks good with that dark gray mine is silver with the smoke headlight and tail lights.

A couple guys here at work run those tires and are pretty happy with them.

I just threw a 35x1250 on a 20x9 +0 offset and don't have any rubbing. Those terra grapplers are only 12.01" per the tire width calculator so you won't have any at all with either option. I'm running the general AT2 and so far gas mileage is still around 15MPG.

I did see on here awhile back a guy had the setup that I was talking about with 35s but he had rockstars and those are -24 offset I believe and he said it was close to rubbing. The rims I want are -12 so it made me curious if they would rub or not.

I believe the stock 20 wheels are a +19 offset and mine still fit.. So anything 0 or a - should work fine...

From what I found, the stock backspacing is 5.75" and you're looking for AT LEAST a 5.5" for a 12.5" wide tire. I really considered the 295/65/20 before I just decided to buy new wheels and go with a 1250. 0 offset on 20x9 is 5" backspacing or a -12 offset 20x10 with 5" backspacing also. 20x9 with -12 will give you 4.5" of backspacing so it's tons of room. With the stock offset there was only about .25" between the control arm and tire. I used the 1010tires calculator a lot when deciding to buy tires. It gives you an idea of how much closer you'll get to that control arm.

Tire Size Calculator - Tire & Wheel Plus Sizing

And also, I saved this thread http://www.ramforum.com/f41/295-65-20_trail_grapplers-25807/ a while back for reference! The more info the better, good luck!

That black ram looks really good with those tires and rims. Thanks for posting that chart it helps a lot. I was also thinking, even if I was offroading I wouldn't have any problems? Still think I'm going with the 305/55/20 for now but maybe in the near future I would like to throw some 35s on.
