Will aftermarket parts for a 13 fit a 14?

I haven't seen much of a difference between the 13's and 14's, at least major changes. I was surfing the net and came across the nfab pre-runner light bar for a 13 and it is $70 cheaper than any other place I have seen. I was wondering if anyone on here has bought 13 parts for their 14, like bull bars or lights bars, and if there were any problems? I am thinking about buying it and if it doesn't fit sending it back and just eat the return shipping, but I would like a little info before I pull the trigger.

I don't believe there is anything different between the years. Only thing I would say would be a restriction is a tuner at this point...

that it what I was thinking. also when I change the years on realtruck.com between the 2013 and 2014 it says the bar will fit both years, so that makes me think there is no difference.

No there is no difference, the 2013 and up are the "4.5th gen "

Whoah, hang on there. I was about to pull the trigger on an S&B CAI because the website (Hottexhaust.com) said it fit. I emailed S&B direct because everywhere else it says that particular P/N fits up to 2013. S&B replied their CAI needs a minor design change because of a minor fouling issue in 2014 model year.

Should be fine then. Buyer beware though, you buy it and retailer doesn't claim it fits 2014, but you by it anyhow, its still yours.

^^good point. maybe i will just wait to find the 14 models on sale.
