Will crank,won't start

98 dodge 1500 p/up, had problems last 2 times I drove my truck, started but lights on dash came on & power windows wouldn't work,shut the truck off & restart then lights go out & windows will work, I did a little bit of trouble shooting. I did replace a blown iod fuse,but not sure where to go next, she still wont start. Any ideas anyone? ??

Does it crank over if not check battery and/or terminals. Do u hear the fuel pump when u turn key on? Mine was hard to start for a few times after I changed a blown iod fuse

Check battery terminals like Joe said.

Do you hear the fuel pump?
If so start checking your ignition. Is the ignition coil burned out?
Then keep working your way up - rotor/cap sending spark to your plug wires?

Might also check fuel pump relay fuse

Listen for the fuel pump to prime. If it does your probably ok there. Check spark at the coil. If it's weak but there, replace it. If there is absoluely no spark look at doing the crank sensor.

Annoying to replace, but when I did my engine swap mine was damaged and wouldn't start until I replaced it...

Mine had a similar issue, it would start when I shifted it to natural though. Try that. If that doesn't work pop the hood and tap the fuses down make sure they're all tight.

My 97 was intermittent Starting in park , I had to shift out of park and kinda slam it back in park and it would work everytime .
