Will my factory 20x9 Ram Alloys rub with 35 inch tires if I lift 6inch BDS?

I have been thinking about lifting my truck using the BDS 6inch Suspension lift after advice I've seen on the forum. My question is My 2016 RAM 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 Sport 5.7 Hemi, cam with 20x9 Alloy Rims... I really like them and want to keep them if possible.. But I was told by a tire guy he thought they my rub due to "off set".... Any advise.. I believe the offset is 12.5 on the 20x9 alloy wheel package...

The offset is 19.05mm on the 20x9. BDS says max 5" backspacing and yours calculates to approx. 5.75" so your mechanic may be right. Maybe someone with that kit will reply

My 2012 wheels are a different style than what you have on yours, but they are the same size (20x9 with +19.05mm offset, or 5.25" backspace).
I have a rcx 6" lift, and am running 35x12.5x20 tires on my stock rims.
My tires measure slightly wider than the advertised 12.5", and I do get a bit of rubbing. The front tires rub on the sway bar link ends when turned to full lock, and there is only about 0.125" of clearance between the sidewall and the knuckle. The rear tires just rub the dust off of the fender liners when flexed. So, yes, they fit, and it's drivable. However, it is less than optimal, and I'll most likely be getting wheel spacers soon.
So, depending on the actual size of your tires, and the design of the bds knuckles, you might need to get spacers if you want to keep your rims.

You'll need wheel spacers to clear the suspension but with those they'll work no problem. Motorsport Tech's BORA spacers are the ones to get as they're a true hub centric spacer machine to fit your truck. The size of spacer you want to go with will depend on how much poke you want. I'd recommend at least a 1.5" spacer to avoid having to trim your stock studs which will give you the equivalent to a 20x9 -19 offset wheel.
