Will RAM create a Hellcat 1500?

Ford announced that they will be realasing a ford f150 shelby. If its true, RAM needs to do a hell cat version of the 1500. Just thinking about it oh man!pic is for reference.

I saw an announcement that Dodge was discontinuing HellCat after 2016. They would release a new V8 engine in 2017. I hope they don't follow Ford's lead on turbo 4 bangers replacing V-8s.

This is what's going to happen.

Us V8 lovers are by far outnumbered by the people who don't see the need or want of a big V8 engine.

Sad really.

Even the 6cyl are slowing retiring.

Imagine Porsche, the 911 have now a 4cyl. Ferrari starts also

They are only making 500 units of the Shelby starting at $85K , $99K for the 707hp.
How many Ram owners are going to sport that kind of $$$ if they made one?
The price would have to be about the same.

With those kind of low production numbers, you know the dealers are going to add a $10K-$20K premium on those units when they first get release.
