I can’t offer much help, if any really, electronics are at the bottom of my knowledge with our trucks. No one?
Hell even on a Saturday school is in sessionFrom AI:
On 2019 Ram trucks, if the wiper delay (intermittent) isn't working—but high/low speeds do—the most common cause is a faulty multi-function switch (turn signal/wiper stalk). Other culprits include a failed Power Distribution Center (PDC/fuse box) relay or a faulty windshield wiper motor. Check the 30-amp F25 fuse first.
Note: For 2019 Ram 1500 Classic models, the Body Control Module (BCM) dictates operation, making thorough diagnosis with a scan tool recommended before replacing parts.
- Check Fuse F25: Ensure the 30-amp fuse (number 25) in the engine bay fuse box is not blown.
- Reset Wipers: If they are not parking correctly, try running them on the first delay notch for a few cycles.
Hi. It quite literally in the first line states I just bought a 2019 RebelI can’t offer much help, if any really, electronics are at the bottom of my knowledge with our trucks.
Is your truck a 04’? Not sure if that’s 2nd or 3rd Gen. but you might get a quicker response there.
Hopefully a member with more experience/ knowledge will respond this weekend, my guess would be the contacts worn out in the switch for the delay’s since still working low & high speed.
Don’t know if you tried searching the issue here, you might find someone that had the same problem & how they fixed it.
Thank you for the reply. Any idea how to gain access to the switch? All the videos show how to get the big plastic cover off. I have a telescoping wheel and the cover is different, and has a boot going to the dash. I cannot find any screws to take out to remove it
I searched and searched video. The first one I watched is the one you posted. I don't have that housing to remove. Mine is rounder, and has a boot in the front that goes to the dash. I cannot find any screw holes in it to get it apart. I didn't see a reason to pull the hood release either lolTry searching YouTube for 2019 Ram multi-function switch.
I found the following video for 2011-2018 Ram 1500.

BTW, I've had the panel off below the steering wheel more than a dozen times and never bothered to disconnect the hood release. I don't see the point.
Or search the threads using the search utility in the upper-right corner.

I have, and haven't found anything about my specific cover. Looks like this
Good suggestions. Thank you
I don't have automated wipersAmateur, but I was amazed by the wipoers on my 14 - has your windshield been replaced? Ex low and (I think high) mine reads what hits the windshield and responds automatically. Spooky at the beginning.
