The video is probably overkill for most guys. The proper crimp tool that's needed to get a real Pro crimp, looks something like THIS. But realistically speaking, it's probably not worth investing in such a tool for just a few crimps. Interlocking the wire strands and soldering (and heat shrink tube) ...the joint is not going to come apart. Use an electronic's grade solder.
