Never heard of this, my guess is it taps into the wireless remote key signal and duplicates that once a preset code has been entered???

kinda slick, I wish I had something like that on my truck, I often us my lock box in the console to put the engine key and just carry the door key with me... But I'm skeptical of it being a quality product from what I can asses from their crappy website

I had something similar on my 03 F150 and it was ok, I think that one was made by ford. It got programmed to the truck like adding another key fob so it was fairly easy to do.

CompuStar makes one to go along with their alarm system.

I'm going to have to look more into these, Kinda like that option. Also I need a new fab cause mine have failed and might as well use a system like this and ditch the stock keys that I'll pay through the nose for.

I have a 2015 Explorer Sport that has a keypad and a key fob that does not need to go into the dash to start the vehicle. Definitely missing those on the Ram.

they work. however you will probably need some sort of bypass module also to to shut off the factory alarm.

when i used to install these they would simply tap into the lock wires in the vehicle.

The wireless ones should do it like it does with hitting the unlock button or at least that's what it did on my 03 150.

Even just to get in cause there's been time I lock the keys inside so I don't have to worry about loosing them or getting wet if I'm on our boat.

The unit that was posted in the OP the only part that is wireless is the part on the door. there is still a "brain box" that gets wired inside the vehicle. (thats even according to the manufacturer on their website).

now that hitch safe is pretty cool.

Ok I didn't see the wiring in part of it.
