Im swapping 360’s & harnesses from a 97 to a 96. I thought it would be plug n play until i got to the 10 pin connector on the drivers side firewall (1 of 3 connectors)and thus, here is my question.
On the pickup side of the 96 harness there is a 10 pin connector with a brown wire that dead ends into it (picture 1).
On the 96 harness side that brown wire is plugged off in the connector and not used.(pic 2&3)
?1)what is that brown wire for??

Im planning on switching the plug from the 96 harness too the 97 harness but would like to know what that wire is/does before i cut wires.
