try charging the battery or jump starting the truck. Batteries have been known to die suddenly like that.

had the battery tested and was good, it's weird just tried to start again, nothing but then I couldn't remove key, disconnected battery again hooked it back up and after some wiggling was able to remove key, Maybe ignition switch??

Win Module or TIPM is the suspect, in this case sounds like bad win module, a known issue. Another name for win module, ignition switch. Now, they do sell them will self programmed keys, but if you want your keys to work, go somewhere like batteries plus and have them code to the new module. You would have to buy one with keys for this to work. If you just buy a win module, only dealer can help you with new keys I do believe. I'd still try and recharge battery once, it takes a lot of cold amps to start and in winters this is the first easiest answer.

There should be a little hole in win module, paper clip will release a stuck key. I havent had to do this, but I heard it done.

There is a chance if you remove the relay for the win module it can reset win, it is possible this can literally fix this.

Try crash68 suggestion 1st.....not enough battery power or no power causes stuck key......yes you said battery was tested but unless it was a load tested could have been incorrect results.
If battery & connections check out move to Burla winmod suggestion

That message may mean something... if truck doesn't think it's in park or neutral it won't try to start and also won't release the key.. is yours the 8 speed or 6 speed? Have you tried neutral?

My wife and I were out for a ride one day, had a full day planned out. We live a couple of hours from the Great Smokie Mountains so we were going to have a picnic, drive around Cades Cove, then head on to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Stopped in Cades Cove for our picnic, finished up, loaded the truck back up, wouldn't start. Lights would come on, radio played, but wouldn't start. A couple of different people had portable boosters and we tried those, but would not start, wouldn't even turn over. Another guy had a F250 diesel in the campground, drove it over, hooked my truck up and it started. Moral is, just because the battery tests good, doesn't mean it has enough amps to crank that Hemi.

I had this issue and it was the battery. Battery "checked-out" OK, but not enough "oomf" to start it. It wouldn't jump from my other car, but the tow truck driver suggested trying with his set-up and it started right up. Went out and bought 2 new batteries. This was with OEM since new at about 31 months

ok ended up towing it to shop and it wasn't the WIN module, I had a critter chew up some wires to the transmission and also had some wires under the intake manifold damaged but luckily they were able to repair all, now all better! now its time to terminate some pests, guess that's part of living in the country, did find out that the wire insulation is a soy based material Probably not a good idea to make it out of something that critters are attracted to IMHO Thanks to all !!
