Hey guys, recently had my 2012 ram 1500 lifted. There's been a couple of issues, the mechanic couldn't use the shocks that rough country sent me because they would simply fall out when the truck was lifted for some reason, he kept mine in their which didn't seem to cause any problems. However, the rear seems to sit fairly lower than the front making it almost look squatted. I'm not heavily educated on any of this stuff by any means, but my guess is the guy who owned it before me beat the hell out of the rear spring with hauling or towing stuff and now even when lifted the springs are simply weak and worn out so it sits lower. He recommended that i buy new springs and he'll put them in and if they don't do the job i'll simply return them. My questions to yall are 1-Is it likely that the springs on a 2012 are already worn out to this extent? 2-If the new springs dont fix the problem, do yall have any other suggestions that could help even out the rear with the front? I'll attach an image, the truck sits on a slope in the photo so it doesn't necessarily look as bad but it is noticeably lower in the rear. Any suggestions if the new springs dont do the trick? Thanks yall.

Yeah, Rough Country is not a good choice from what I've seen and read. More educated folks here with solid advice for lifts for the Rams. I won't do lifts anymore just because of the headaches.

Wish I had better info to give ya.

I was hesitant about buying rough country but it was damn near the only kit available for my truck. It seems like the kit hasn't caused any of the problems though. Thanks for taking the time at least.

A year and a half ago I did Bilstein 5100s all the way around on mine and upgraded the rear springs to TUFFTRUK TC-1211 rear springs. I was running 305/55/20s up until last month. Running 35x12.50R20s now. I'd say go with better springs on the rear.

From this pic it looks more like your frame has the problem that no spring is going to fix

That rear looks stock height......

That's not the lifted spring's that should be in the truck.......or the kit came with a top spacer & your installer left it out
