would 6.4 valve springs fit on a non vvt 5.7?

Absolutely not. Get 16 6.1 exhaust only springs and a full set of 6.1 intake & exhaust pushrods. VVT engine heads use longer valves than their predecessors.

For a 6.1 maybe. 6.1 and pre-eagle 5.7 use different base circles from each other (though still interchangeable); aftermarket non-VVT cams use the 6.1 base circle. Stock pre-eagle springs are good for what they were designed for (if they don't break) and that's pretty much it. I didn't trust the stock springs for a 260. I like peace of mind and springs & pushrods are cheaper than an engine.
