I’m about due some fronts... I’ve been eyeing that setup a while.

Is it bad that I kinda wish they had a bigger rotor? Something that would fill up the wheel barrel?

Baby steps, bro. Baby steps! Who makes the kit with bigger rotors?

This is also coming from a guy with 17” wheels, but my mustang fits a 13” rotor comfortably in a 17x9

I don't know about our trucks, but Dynatrac makes a (BBK) Big Brake Kit for Jeep JK Wranglers that includes bigger rotors & caliper relocation brackets that move the OEM calipers further out for increased leverage. Pricey, but needed for larger, heavier tires & wheels.

Didn't get a pic, already took them back to autozone. The bottom right shows little bit.

well that is the answer to my Question .Those brake pads are the worst on the planet from Auto Zone stopped using them well over 12 years ago on my vehicles, which I do all the brake jobs on. Bendix,or Mopar that is all I use. when you use Auto Zone brake pads it sounds like a city bus stopping with all the squealing noises they make

So, misconception on brakes. Eliminating the 'wear' indicator squeals...

Semi-metallic pads will make noise. It just depends on usage. Some of that noise is from poorly greased brake pads hardware. The thin metal that holds the pads, clamped to the caliper mount. These will squeal horribly at times. Need to apply more grease, good quality syn grease.

If you have loud noises and it feels like you're fighting to stop - time to tear things down.

You shouldn't judge quality and wear by just looking at the pads. Need to see true wear, thickness vs milage, rotor wear, etc. Looking at the pads straight on, it's hard to say.

There isn't anything wrong with OEM parts brake pads etc. There is better aftermarket parts.

BTW you'll replace front pads twice as much as rear..
