I know I'm the oddball out but I prefer the feel of a turbo motor.
You're not too odd, I prefer engine to have forced induction but in my case I usually prefer they not have spark plugs(not a deal breaker) ... LOL
As for the Hurricane motor, so far most of the reports have been with electrical issues with the truck. Don't think there's been a rash of grenaded engines but then again not many have backed up a lot of mileage (Ram platform). The same motor is also used by Jeep in a couple of vehicles and soon to be Charger

WHY I trashed the SRA's and went to the Falkens, and sold the SRA's as a set for $125.00, gas money, LOL.
FYI- My wife's Willys came with 33" Falken Wildpeak MTs.
The first set of Falkens I've ever had.
As a mud terrain tire I was anticipating them being a bit squirrelly in the winter ( despite being a M/S tire)
But after driving to work all winter on them I have to say I'm pretty impressed.
They really do a great job. I'll probably go with another set when these are done...

Quietest mud terrains I've ever owned too, and you really notice tire noise in a Wrangler...

I went from a08 jk to a 15pw I love it more power more room. And because my jeep wasn’t a rubicon more capable. Me and the missus slept in the jeep a couple of times. When I rolled my jeep I wanted a truck the jeep didn’t fit my needs anymore. With the mods I have done the truck is way more comfortable than the jeep. Solid front axle and the lockers were the deal for me and really i never use it alot but I am still glad to have it

I've been into Jeeps since I bought my first, which was a 2012 JKU. Made it into mostly a trail rig which made it not as good for DD. So I traded the 2012 for a 2006 TJ Unlimited (LJ). That is now my dedicated trail rig. I bought my 2023 Big Horn for DD. I put 33" Falken AT on which handle great in bad weather.

This is my third half ton, had two F150's prior. You will get used to it. I do suggest the 5.7" bed if you're worried about that. Easier to park and handle. I'm also not a fan of the 6' 4" bed, just don't need the extra length.

While in between DD vehicles, I bought a near stock 04 TJ. Intention was to drive it for a year, then get the Ram. The TJ will go to my 16yo when he gets his drivers license. In the meantime, I do enjoy driving it when I'm going to be in a tight parking lot, or just running errands where the Ram will be more difficult to park.

I do really like the size of the Wranglers for DD. Bought Ram to tow the trail rig. Though if I ever ended up not wanting a trail rig, I'd consider a Wrangler as a DD again.

I traded my Power Wagon in on a 24 Gladiator Mojave and I don't miss the RAM. Too tall for most parking garages, too wide for any trails, too big for city streets. I was the king of the road on the interstates but in most other situations it sucked. Gladiator with the roof and doors off is the cats ass!

I moved up from a Diesel Colorado, the ride quality, back seat space and utility of a larger bed are all well worth it. The only negative are the tow mirrors, mine don't have the electric folding option. Otherwise it is superior in every way except for fuel mileage of the diesel.

If you had an older 2dr Wrangler and went to the JLU, you have an idea of how much better the ride and tech are, take that times 10 moving from the JLU to a Ram 1500. I still have a JLU (well my daughter dd’s it now) and love to jump in and enjoy the fun once in a while, but the driving experience and utility in my RAM is everything that the Wrangler is not. Yes, it takes attention and time to get used to turning and parking strategies, sorry 22” rims.. (auto park is awesome) but I absolutely love my truck.

Flopped my08 jk on the way to work. I wanted a truck so I got a2015 pw I don’t miss it at all. I love the pw yes its harder to park and harder on fuel. But I can sleep in the back comfortably. I don’t do much tight wheeling (mostly dedicated trails and logging roads ).

Hi guys,

I have been a wrangler owner for a long time. Thinking about getting rid of it for a 2025 ram rebel. I really like the turbo motor and the interior seems worlds above.

I know jeeps don't have the best ride quality so I am thinking since it's my daily id be very happy with the rebel.

The only thing that concerns me a little is the size and length of the truck. Parking and certain daily tasks. Assuming I'd get use to it and would be no big deal though.

Just curious if anyone else has came from a wrangler and more importantly how you guys like dallying your rams?

Thanks and possibly placing an order for a 25 this weekend

Just buy a Power Wagon! That way you will have the best of the two. As long as you are ok with driving a tank!

Jan and I commuted in a wrangler and Cherokee forever, the last 3 winters we rolled around a Florida city of 100k in a Ram 2500 diesel manual and enjoyed every day. Only complaint, Jan’s pissed because she can’t drive a manual. Gee my bad I bought a truck the wife can’t drive. Get the truck they are so useful.

But remember to get the truck you want a pw isn’t for everyone neither is a 1 ton diesel. They both have their uses but they are not for everyone

The further north and east you go, the less useful the PW is IMO.

I test drove the Gladiator Rubicon and Mojave before buying my PW and it's unarguably easier to drive in tighter spaces, urban or trail...but it just felt so out of breath on the interstate and just wasn't as comfortable. Since I need to interstate to get to the fun places, PW it was.
