Wrong Intake

Hey Duane, volant sent me the wrong intake. They sent part # 151606 for GM Silverado HD 6.0L 2011

I need the part # 160576 for Dodge Ram 5.7L 2011.

Is this something I can just send back and they can send me the correct one? It says on the side of the box the Chevy part number and application, so I had a feeling even before I opened it, it was the wrong one. I didn't even pull it out of the box all the way, as I could tell when I looked at it in the box, it was the wrong one.

Nah, Duane will hook it up. **** happens! Volant wasn't very good at communicating. Duane and myself never got an email, tracking or anything. He had to ask them for it, so I'm sure they just rushed and made a mistake. No worries! :********:

I like the attitude. Id feel the same way unless they dident take care of yah. Its great to have vendors that take care of forum members!

Seriously man! Gotta love this place and the personable people, and great customer service! Only really dealt with two vendor thus far: JJ's Retro shop, and Duane's 3rd strike. But the communication, and outstanding support is by far the best I've ever experienced!

I will get this taken care of first thing Monday buddy! Sorry about that...not sure how that happened, but you are probably right, they got in a hurry and sent the wrong one. Imagine if they sent your intake to a Chevy owner....
