@TheEnder i havent actually attached yet or anything just wanted to see how it looked first. I feel like it needs painted first or something to kill the chrome. Sun bouncing off the chrome could be an issue.

That is true. In fact the chrome handle on the center console blinds me when driving south in the morning. Have to lay my arm across it. Been thinking about putting something on it to knock the reflective qualities down, but not sure what yet. Maybe just some gray or black vinyl tape.

Yeah, i get that. My chrome door handles are usually blinding, but pretty soon i’m planning on spray painting them galaxy themed colors.

I put black electrical tape on mine the first week I had my truck.. for me it was a safety issue as the sun hits it and it's like a laser beam.

My vote goes for covering the chrome. The sun will definitely shine off of it from the looks of it.

I keep thinking of doing that, and agree, it's a safety issue. Usually only on the morning drive heading southeast, the Sun is low and reflects right into my eyes off the handle.

Edit: Had some black Gorilla tape in the garage and put that on. Should stay put and has a texture, so it looks okay
