Hey guys just a little update if you're considering going with this setup. Love it so far. Looks great! Install was as easy as any other brake pad install. I did have to bleed the brakes swapping to the red calipers.

Stock brakes with 93k on them. Surprisingly I still had 20% of the front pads. Even wear on both sides. Not bad moving 35's and then 37's for 65000 miles.

And the new rotors are drilled/slotted. Red calipers, Z36 brake pads. Maxtrac SS brake hoses are already installed from the lift kit at 28k.

Looks nice behind the wheel. She obviously needs a bath.

Most importantly follow this break in procedure! It was a bit alarming smelling the brakes on the 5th hard 40-10 aggressive braking but that's what it called for.

Enjoy!

Had these on my last truck. Will likely need to do brakes this summer and plan to go this route again. They were awesome brakes. Also being a Chicago area person this is a local company as they are also located outside Chicago in Bedford Park.

I hear great things just curious about the longevity of this setup. Anyone with some time on these kits have any input.

I put the R1Conecepts Geomet slotted/drilled rotors and ceramic pads on my 2014 R/T and it made a huge difference. they brakes really make a huge difference in stopping power.

Put this kit on my truck a year ago. Big improvement over stock and zero issues so far. Have about 7k on them.

Ok rears are done.... :emotions122: they still had 50% pad left. I had to fix one of my BORA spacers. Discount tire stripped a lug off and finally had time to press it out while doing this brake job. Also got my procomp brake line brackets installed aswell. When you start adding little extras it really does extend the initial job close to exhaustion. :favorites68:

Onto the pics.

Stock brakes before.

Z36 kit installed.

And with wheel installed.

This should conclude all the necessarys to keep this truck going another 100k.

I have my eyes on a MDS delete Greene performance cam upgrade next. But that will be a long while.

Had these on my last truck (Silverado) and put about 60k on them. Still had a lot of life left on the pads.
Currently have them on the Ram 1500 and probably have over 50k on them. I was surprised how much life was still left when i looked at them less than 1,000 miles ago. Without having a new set of pads to compare them to, I’m guessing they’re at 75%+
Another great thing about these pads is no brake dust!

Yup :D Core tier3 5-link system in red to match.

Little rear undercarriage shot. JB caught the resi too. I was super excited about the bilstein clamps until I realized the inner fender cover and 37" tires cover them up. Save the $40 bucks unless it's a show build.

These breaks are great. I only did the Rotor and pad upgrade. Mild towing and they are still doing great. I have a crew cab and tow a trans am from time to time. I put them on my wife’s quad cab/ V6. She would tow motorcycles through mountains as well. We both have 70k on the breaks and zero issues. Well worth the money.

The brakes on my 2007 5.9 diesel were like new at 94K(I have a G-56) and worked great. I put them in the shed and replaced the front's with Powerstop rotors and pads. They do yield a seat in the pants improvement.
