I decided to go 4" + bils front. I know, about 6" etc, but I need 4" and new shocks (have almost 40K with the factory's). Read all the threads here and on Z, saw a thousand of photos but still cannot good understand what is better for the rear. I saw some photos where the guys have 4"+0.7 and 3" rear and they were leveled, and also there were trucks with 4"+2.8 and 3" rear and they were leveled too... I cannot understand why. I also noticed that is better to go with new 3" coils (not sure why). My actual rake is 2.4" which is I want to avoid.
In a theory, front + 4" lift + 0/0.7 bils and rear 2.4 rake + 2" lift should be almost leveled. And if I go +4" lift + 1.4 bils and rear 2.4" rake + 3" lift will be leveled too? Is it ok with the calculations or am I somewhere wrong?

p.s. after that I'll put 295/65/20 toyo AT on my stock 20*9 laramie rims - if it affects the decision. Also not sure about the spacers for them.
Thank you, guys.

p.p.s. my truck is 13 4wd CC laramie.

I would definitely go with the 3" rear option as it will come with replacement coils rather than a coil spacer. Then setting the Bilsteins at 0.7" will remove 1.7" of rake from your truck leaving you with 0.8". That will look very close to level to the eye. Setting them at 1.4" will have your truck looking nose high.

This ^^^ would be correct . . . You will regret getting the 2" spacer . . . Get the 3" coil spring, and make sure you spend the extra $10 and upgrade the rear shocks

Thks, guys, I think I will go zone 4+3 rear and foxes struts 0-2 front, and foxes shocks 0-1 rear. Hope there won't be any problem with the leveling and a great ride must be achieved.
Is there any possibility to exclude the original zone rear shocks from the kit and drop a little bit it's price? As I don't want "mix" the shocks.

I think things like that can be arranged if you give them a call.

Lots of times the kits come complete and you're going to be paying for the shocks regardless of them sending them or not. I know that was the case with my BDS kit when I was looking to omit a few items that I wanted to upgrade.

As far as the rear shocks go you'll want longer shocks than the 0-1" rear Fox shocks as you're going to be running at 3" of rear lift.

Oops, it seems I have missed that thing, right, thank you. I wonder what the shocks are used in Zone kits for the rear. What do you think if I'll combine FOX struts on the front with those ones?

P.S. I talked to guys riding Bils, and it seems they are not good for our bad roads. The fact is they are too hard.

It won't be an issue to use the Zone shocks with the Fox coilovers on the front end. However Fox shocks are a lot better quality than the generic white body shocks that come with the Zone kit. So Fox would give you a better ride quality for sure.

You can find out what Fox shocks will work by determining what extended/collapsed lengths you need. Find out what the specs are for the 0-" shocks and then add 3" to each measurement and find a shocks that matches those numbers (or close to them).

I found stocks are:
Compressed 16.41
Extended 25.58
Travel 9.17

The only FOXes I've found are for some old 1500 and 2500/3500 models (not sure the mounting is the same):
Travel: 11.10"
Ext.Length:29.55"
Col.Length:18.45"
Shock Mounting: O.E. Bolt in Replacement front shock, to mount in stock location
Fox #: 985-24-020
Shocks will accommodate from 2" to 3.5" of Lift

Will they pass? I'm worried if the truck end will be too soft, or let's say too free.

What would be the correct front Fox shocks to add to the BDS 4" lift kit with 3" rear coil and Fox 2.0 rear shocks?
