I got my tires, rims and I am ready to pull the trigger on the zone 6" lift. I have bilsteins ready to put on the front with the lift but to get it as close to level what is the general consensus 2.8 or 2.1 on the bilsteins? I should say I will be going with the 5” in the back. Lastly should I get UCAs? Do I need them? I can get a good deal on some new Mevotech ones how would they compare to the zone ones? Thanks!

What size tires/wheels are you going to run?....37’s?

I went with the Zone arms to keep the BJ at a good angle. If you want a slight 3/4” rake set your bils at 2.1, if you want the fenders even set them at 2.8. Worse case if it settles to much and looks nose high you can add a rear coil spacer.

325 60 20 duratracs or possibly the 35x12.5 if I can get my hands on them. I want to run the 5” in the rear as I seen a member on here run that setup with 35x12.5 trail grapplers. What about mevotech arms? Haven’t had anytime to research them yet I just was thinking about this right before I was going to order.

the zone UCA's are pretty beefy. i realize there like $400 but the do really improve it and im pretty sure they guarantee those for life.

It’s a 17. What did you use as a front lift in yours jb1 and how much lift did u get front and rear? I’m stuck if I should do the 5” in the rear as some pictures I see I like with 35s and other I think not so much. Maybe it’s the angle of the picture I don’t know.

Mine is also a 2017, I have the 6" BDS with Bilstein 6112 set at 2.60 and I run 37's.

Take a look at my pics and imagine it with a tire 2" shorter

what are the specs on your wheels?.....width and offset?

I honestly think the angle of some of the pictures have a lot to do with the tires looking stuffed, or too much gap. And that Gap is subjective...not everyone has the same opinion on what looks good.

Comparing pics, JB1's front gap looks the same or even bigger with those 37's!

That’s kinda what I mean. Your truck looks great solid state. That’s what I want. What kind of tires do you have? I went with 20x9 1 wheels only because I don’t want to run flares and we have quite a bit of gravel around here.

So they should look the same height wise and you went the zone 6/5 with bils @ 2.8? How long have you had it installed? Just curious if you had any issues with your ball joints

No issues with ball joints, but mines an 11'. The ball joint issues began with the 13' models. Have had lift on since last september. Prob have7-8K miles on since lifting. No issues, rides great.

Supposedly they changed the UCA's on the 13? and newer. Some guys have had issues the ball joints popping out of the control arm. So, if you level a newer truck, 2" or more, a lot of guys will replacr the UCA's for added insurance. Believe it has more to do with angles than wear.
